Collectively, these speakers raise questions about how creative practice and explicit or implicit co-production engage with established and emerging place-based histories as part of the ongoing process of shaping place-based identities.

2020 Conversations with Norway

As part of The Stove's Wild Goose Festival 2020 I hosted "Conversations with Norway" with presentations from 4 local artists about their work connected with Norway as well as artists Floortje and Kine currently working in Traena, Norway.

This is part of an ongoing relationship and body of work that I have led for The Stove Networks that explores creative exchange and creative activity as part of a growing Scottish Artic relationship and builds on the work of Our Norwegian Story, a 10 month celebration of Dumfries significance as the headquarters for Norwegians in exile during WWII

2013 The Stove Network: Back to Back

This was a very early Stove project and the first I was involved in. A stop motion film following a street stencil project inviting passers by to join in decorating the space in front of the new Stove building (when it had just been handed over) and celebrate some of the other special places in their town
